In most household, fried rice is the go-to dish. You have a party, or an eve, or any occasion, fried rice is must.  Chinese fried rice tops the list of all, as we are in love with its authentic taste and the way it is prepared. This delightful dish is popular across East and South east countries, but today it has travelled across the globe to satisfy our never ending appetite! The best part is the aroma of basmati rice, and this wonderful delicacy is usually made with egg, vegetables, shrimp and chicken as the key ingredients. Of all, chicken fried rice is an absolute treat for all chicken lovers. 


  • 500 g - chicken, cooked and shredded

  • 3 cups - basmati rice, cooked

  • 1 cup - carrot, cabbage and beans, julienned

  • 1 - capsicum, de-seeded, julienned

  • 2 - eggs

  • 1 tsp - white pepper powder

  • 2-3 flakes - garlic, chopped

  • 1 - onion, thinly sliced

  • Soya sauce to taste

  • Oil

  • Salt to taste


  • Cook rice and keep aside.

  • Heat oil and saute onions, garlic, capsicum, cabbage, beans and carrot.

  • Mix with salt and pepper and set aside.

  • Scramble eggs in the pan.

  • Add sauteed vegetables and cooked chicken mix well.

  • Mix in the rice gently.

  • Season with soya sauce and serve hot.
